This Privacy Policy explains how Para collects, uses, discloses, and secures information that we collect from you or that you provide to us when you visit our website through www.usepara.com (“Website”) or use any other products and services made available by us, our electronic communications, including email, text, and voice messages, and other websites and services that we provide that are controlled by us (collectively, the “Services”).

Collection of Information
Para collects information from and about users of our Services in a variety of ways.
We act as a service provider to organizations (“Clients”) who want to engage with individual consumers (“Client Consumers”) through the Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the extent Para Processes Personal Information as a data processor or service provider, such as on our Clients’ behalf, who may have their own terms and privacy policies. If your Personal Information has been submitted to us by or on behalf of a Client and you wish to exercise any rights you may have under applicable data protection laws, please inquire with the Client directly.
If you are an employee, officer, or other agent of the Client, our use of your Personal Information may be governed by Para’s agreement with the Client.
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information directly from you when you create an account, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. The categories of information we collect include:
- Identification and Contact Information: we collect your name, email address, and phone number.
- Financial Information: we collect payment information through third party payment processors.
- Communication Information: we collect information included in your communications with us.
- Message Content: when you send messages via the Services, we will collect any information or content included in those messages.
- Data That You Create: we may collect the content of your blog posts, feedback, comments, photos, videos, messages, social media, and uploaded audio files.
- We may also collect any other information you choose to provide.
Information We Collect Automatically
We automatically collect the following categories of information:
- Internet Activity Information: we collect information about how you access our Website, including data about the device and network you use, such as your hardware model, operating system version, mobile network, IP address, unique device identifiers, and browser type. We also collect information about your activity on our Website and interaction with our communications, such as access times, pages viewed, links clicked, and the page you visited before navigating to our Website.

We do not and cannot control any policies or terms of any third party, including Google. All information you have provided to Google is subject to its privacy policy. We may also receive information about you from service providers, advertisers, business partners, and other third parties that we work with. How We Use Your Information
We, or our service providers, use your information for various business and operational purposes:

- Provide, manage, support, and improve our Services;
- Respond to your requests for information and provide you with more effective and efficient customer service;

- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other legal processes and procedures;
- Cooperate with law enforcement or other governmental agencies for purposes of investigations, public safety, or matters of public importance when we are legally required to do so or believe that disclosure of Personal Information is necessary or appropriate to protect the public interest;
- Establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights; and
- For any other purpose in which you authorize or instruct us to use your information.
Please note, we may use and disclose aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not identify any individual for any lawful purposes (“Anonymized Data”). Our use and disclosure of such Anonymized Data is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
Online Analytics and Interest-Based Advertising
Analytics. We may use third-party analytics services (such as those of Google Analytics) on our Services to collect and analyze usage information through Cookies; engage in auditing, research, or reporting; assist with fraud prevention; and provide certain features to you.
- Google Analytics. Google Analytics will place cookies on your device that will generate the information we select about your use of the Website, including your device’s IP address. That information will be transmitted directly to and stored by Google. Interest-Based Advertising. When you use the Services, Para may use the information collected from you in order to display advertising to you on other websites, such as Facebook or Google, about products, services, and related features that we think may be of interest to you to improve and personalize your use of the Services. This type of advertising is called retargeting. These ads may be personalized based on information that we collect about you. This advertising may be based on your current activity or your activity over time and may be tailored to your interests.
- Meta Pixel and Custom Audiences: We use the remarketing and analytics services of Meta, Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Meta”) on our website. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Custom Audiences to deliver targeted advertisements to Website visitors across those Meta-owned social media platforms based on email addresses that we have collected. - HubSpot Analytics: We may use HubSpot Analytics, a web analytics service provided by HubSpot, Inc. that uses cookies and beacons to track how long users are on our Website, what marketing pages they visit, what marketing offers they respond to, and a user’s identity, to improve our customer education material, set up accounts and operate our Services. Please note that to the extent advertising technology is integrated into the Services, you may still receive advertising even if you opt out as described above. In that case, the advertising will just not be based on your interests.
Notice Concerning Do Not Track. Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. We are committed to providing you with meaningful choices about the information collected on our website for third-party purposes, and that is why we provide the variety of opt-out mechanisms listed above. However, because of the changing state of technology and indecision within the industry regarding the meaning of DNT signals, we have not yet developed a response to browser DNT signals and do not change any of our data collection practices when we receive such signals. We will continue to evaluate potential responses to DNT signals in light of industry developments or legal changes.
How We Share Your Information

- Related Entities. We may share your information with our affiliates (entities that control or are under the control of Para) for business purposes. We will require these entities to comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy with regard to their use of your information.
- Marketing Partners. We may share information with third parties to facilitate the delivery of targeted ads, promotions, and offers to you, on our behalf, on and off the Website. If you have agreed to receive marketing, you can always opt-out at a later date. - State, Federal, and International Courts and Regulatory and Government Authorities. We may disclose your information as we believe to be necessary or appropriate to: (i) comply with applicable law and legal processes; (ii) respond to requests from public and government authorities; (iii) enforce our contracts; (iv) protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you or others; and (v) allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
- Parties to Business Transactions. - We also disclose de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Retention of Information
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with applicable legal obligations. We will also retain and use your information as necessary to resolve disputes, protect Para and our users, and enforce our agreements; and then delete it.
Third-Party Links and Social Media
The Website may link to, or be linked to, websites not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for third parties' privacy policies or practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites or to any data that you provide to third parties. You should read the privacy policy for each website that you visit.
Social Media. We are active on social media, including such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn (“Social Media”). We use third-party plug-ins (e.g., the Facebook “like” button and the Twitter “follow” button). These links and features are provided for your reference and convenience only and do not imply any endorsement of information provided through these third-party links and features, nor any association with their operators. If you choose to use these sites or features, you may disclose your Personal Information not just to those third parties, but also to their users and the public more generally depending on how their services function. Anything you post publicly or on our Social Media pages will not be treated confidentially. We may post (or re-post) on the Website and our Social Media pages any comments or content that you post on our Social Media pages. The Website allows you to connect and share data with Social Media platforms. These features may require us to use cookies, plug-ins, and APIs provided by such Social Media platforms to facilitate those communications and features. The Website may use advertising networks and services offered by Social Media platforms to deliver advertising content. The use of these services requires Social Media platforms to implement cookies or pixel tags to deliver ads to you while you access the Website. Your use of Social Media is governed by the privacy policies and terms of the providers that own and operate those websites and not by this Privacy Policy. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for general audiences and not for children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected “personal information” (as defined by the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) from children under the age of 13 without legally valid parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible.

Marketing Communications. You may instruct us not to use your contact information to contact you by email, postal mail, or phone regarding products, services, and promotions that might appeal to your interests by contacting us using the methods in the “Contact Us” section below.
You can opt out of receiving further promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the promotional email you receive from us or by contacting us directly at the email address listed below.
Please note that, regardless of your request, we may still use and share certain information as permitted by this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law.

Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, if you are a California resident, you have the right to obtain: (a) a list of all third parties to whom we may have disclosed your personal information within the past year for direct marketing purposes, and (b) a description of the categories of personal information disclosed, by contacting us per the “Contact Us” section below.
Information For Nevada Residents
Under Nevada law, certain Nevada consumers may opt out of the sale of “personally identifiable information” for monetary consideration (as such terms are defined under Nevada law) to a person for that person to license or sell such information to additional persons. We do not engage in such activity; however, if you are a Nevada resident and you have purchased products from us, you may submit a request to opt out of any potential future sales under Nevada law by email to privacy@usepara.com. Please note we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request. Once verified, we will maintain your request in the event our practices change.
Information For International Users
Our Services are solely intended for use by individuals located within the United States. Personal Information collected in connection with the use and operation of our Services is stored and processed in the United States. If you access or use our Services or otherwise engage with us from outside the United States, you acknowledge that we may transfer your information outside of such country to the United States. Please note, the United States has not been assessed as having adequate privacy laws by some countries and economic regions.
Privacy Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our data collection and use practices, the features of our Services, or advances in technology. We will make the revised Privacy Policy accessible through the use of the Services, so you should review the Privacy Policy periodically.
